These Clusters have been pivotal in maximising the opportunities for the supply chain, skills market and infrastructure in the East of England.
The EastWind Cluster was established in 2021 and is looking to drive the implementation of the objectives of the Offshore Wind Sector Deal as far as they relate to the East. It looks to represent and give a voice to operators, developers, local government and the supply chain across the East of England, raising awareness of the industry and the opportunities it presents to the wider community – both locally and nationally.
Hydrogen East was launched in July 2020, setting out to advance the hydrogen economy and support the hydrogen value chain across the East of England. Hydrogen East operates as a central body, coordinating efforts across various sectors, exploring, promoting and implementing hydrogen solutions. Its activities are now incorporate the South East region, as well as East Anglia, striving to fully capitalise on its potential as a leader in hydrogen development.
East of England Energy Group (EEEGR) is a not-for-profit trade body representing the energy sector and its supply chain in the East of England. With 200 member businesses, EEEGR provides networking opportunities, business introductions, and industry intelligence. It supports skills development and advocates for sector growth and opportunities.
