Sizewell C has entered the next stage of its investment process, with applications opening for partners to come forward and register interest in being part of the project.
The process that has been launched will task partners with completing a pre-qualification assessment, through which they need to show that they can meet crucial criteria if they are to enter into negotiations on a potential equity stake in Sizewell C. Of particular importance to the Sizewell C Company and EDF is experience in delivering major infrastructure projects.
The government has assured it will only be accepting investment from private investors able to add value to the project, meaning that they provide value for money and boost energy security.
