Lhyfe sets up camp in Sheffield as it plots expansion

Lhyfe has expanded its UK operation into South Yorkshire as it looks to accelerate the rollout of hydrogen across the region.

It has selected Sheffield because of the “exceptional supply chain potential and strong industry connections” it offers, as well as ongoing world-leading hydrogen research. It now wants to identify opportunities to deploy production facilities to support businesses and organisations in the drive to net zero and is inviting companies and sectors aiming to decarbonise their operations to get in touch.

It also wants to establish links across academia with the likes of the University of Sheffield already carrying out high-profile hydrogen fuel switching research projects.
