Fund targets net zero innovation across Suffolk

Suffolk County Council has launched a Net Zero Innovation Fund, which will back businesses with innovation solutions to drive the county to net zero.

Coordinated by the Carbon Charter, the £100,000 fund is now calling for businesses to express their interest ahead of what will be a more detailed application process. Funding will be awarded to businesses that have a concept that can show a clear link to the net zero transition, is scalable, has the potential for data collection and evaluation, can be evidenced as an original idea, and is capable of delivering outcomes by the end of 2024.

The application process is expected to unfold through successive funding rounds, until it is fully committed, and will see the completion of a project summary which is then judged by an independent panel of specialists, followed by a pitch.
