A hydrogen innovation and development hub is at the heart of Bramble Energy’s new headquarters in West Sussex.
The facility is envisaged as a world-leading research, development and testing facility dedicated to hydrogen fuel cells, electrolysers and sensors. It is capable of supporting every element of technology development. It can take concepts all the way through the R&D phase through to production-ready technology. Fuel cells of varying sizes can also be tested – whether single digit watts, or the multi kW sizes that are needed to serve the heaviest of mobility industries.
Bramble Energy highlighted the breakthrough it has made in hydrogen fuel cell technology and design innovation courtesy of its PCB-X platform. PCB-X has helped Bramble to solve challenges in the production of hydrogen fuel cells and accelerate the hydrogen mobility industry through the world’s first printed circuit board (PCB) hydrogen fuel cell. Bramble is capable of designing, manufacturing, testing and shipping a PCB fuel cell in weeks at a cost that is “game-changing significantly lower” than the industry standard.
